6 Story Multi- Family Residential concept in the San Fernando Valley.  5 floors of condominiums over retail and garage.  Concept phase developed in joint partnership with The Nadel Partnership / Los Angeles.

Multi-Story Mixed - Use design concept in the heart of Hollywood.  Live-work units line the urban edge at the  lower floors bracketing parking levels.  A dramatic curved surface acts as an axial terminus for the main southbound approach from Sunset Boulevard. 

East, South, and West elevations establish a dialog with the textural and scalar context along the corresponding streets.

THE CITADEL City of Commerce, Uniroyal site - Mixed-use master plan for a historical site of 750,000 SF with office, R&D, hotel, factory outlet/food court and renovation of existing tower.  This project was the wining entry in a competition that included six Developer / Architect teams. Has garnered many Design awards and publications. 

KENT STATION BUILDING 4 – 80,000 s.f. four story for Tarragon Development.

 Retail at ground floor, Green River Community College at the second and third floor, and lease office space on the fourth floor.  Completed spring, 2009, LEED certified.

Custom Home, Newport Beach, CA – The Orr residence in Newport Beach, California is a custom 4,500 SF home organized around a curving natural stone wall that orders and defines the exterior and interior spaces. An exquisitely detailed steel and Kalwall canopy greets visitors at the entry gates and continues past the courtyard and front door to create a massive skylight thus creating an interior / exterior continuum.

The Kitchen, Master Bedroom and Great Room open to a panoramic view of Newport Harbor. The balance of the rooms open up to the private and richly landscaped entry courtyard.

AL FAISALIAH CENTER, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - A new mixed-use development consisting of a 560,000 sq. ft. speculative office tower, a 350,000 SF urban enclosed retail mall with a major department store anchor and a 260-room, five-star luxury hotel.  A rental apartment complex with 120-units ranging from one to three bedrooms and a 1,500-seat auditorium for major foundation public events.  This was an international design competition for the King Faisal Foundation against formidable competitors such as Sir Norman Foster, and Phillip Johnson. Received staff recommendation for a win.  Final runner up status.

THE MAXWELL HOTEL – Roy Street, Seattle, WA – 4 1/2  story, 135 key boutique hotel with subterranean parking with retail and restaurants on the ground floor.

KANGHWA TIME PORT, Korea - 900 acre Master Plan including 3 hotels, country club, regional mall, theme park and mixed use residential.

UNION RESCUE MISSION (URM), Los Angeles, California - 700 bed, shelter, learning and recovery facility for the homeless.  The dining area will seat 600 while the kitchen facility is designed to produce 3,000 meals daily.  A chapel of approximately 500 SF is also included in the project along with a learning center, separate men and women’s recovery/addiction facilities, family transitional housing and recreation/gymnasium.  During tenure as Design Director for the Nadel Architects, Los Angeles.

An enclosed pedal/electric tricycle with PV panels, torque sensing electric hub motors, and an internally geared transmission.

3,600 SF custom residence to replace this family’s house that was lost to the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. It features a steel frame, exterior metal cladding, Standing seam metal roof, and sealed concrete floors. It will be fully sprinklered, including rooftop sprinklers. The main house is for the parents, and the 2 sty annex is for the kids. a detached 3 car garage/shop is included. Energy saving appliances, and equipment along with a vast solar panel array will keep this house off grid.
